hey, im bluepuffin!
First of all, I want to recommend the song "Psycho" by Red Velvet. Fun fact: did you know they had a concert in North Korea before, even though they are a South Korean K-Pop girlies group? That must have been scary. I hope they're okay. I'm also gonna share a poem.
life is lovely!!
i jumped into the pool
full of hidden slaughter
everyone kept their cool
playing in laughter
beneath the layers of chlorine
lies a bitter tangerine
who covers the leaks late
with cheap washi tape
i'm shooting all i can
live, laugh, water gun
behind the scenes, there's cries, there's screams
over my head, there's pain there's dread
music goes on and on
the joy is never gone
i'm happier than ever
i wanna be here forever
and when i had to leave the pool
to put myself dry
i laughed not to cry
no one is here, am i a fool?
i tried to leave the place
with an Usain Boltain pace
and left with no word said
went home lie in bed
i enjoyed music alone
it's cozier here at home
drowning in happiness
enjoying the silence
written today, 22 august 2025, by BluePuffin. i know i'm not a fool. the poem talks about an endless happiness zone, the pool, where music drowns out every unwanted emotion and a "bitter tangerine" (perhaps Trump, and, by extension, anyone like him) fakingly solving problems with fragile and pretentious solutions while the root causes remain untouched. the poetic persona presumably takes part into such joy, with shooting all he can, mindlessly, with a water gun.
however, when he left the pool, he found that no one had left it. everyone was so immersed in joy that they forgot to dry theirselves, except for the poetic persona. uncomfortable, the poetic persona went home quickly, just to drown his own self with the very music he ran away from.
moving on, i'd be glad if you signed a random petition today. of your choice. go fuel change.
have a nice day
im overwhelmed/overstimulated
