Today I’m going to share 2 poems I wrote specifically dedicated to someone, an other poem. By the way, I’ve been sending a letter to someone random every day, I even sent one to Billie Eilish! This time, the song recommendations are:
LALALA LA LALALA LA LA PIPIPIP
for karl
you have to know that
i don't know you like that
never saw you at a mall
'cause you don't live right here all
found you in a comments section
i'm not lost there's no direction
my condolences to your friend
fly high gecko, have a nice end
suddenly the gaps that once were here
were filled with words that I could hear
you live in a village with your family
and you sneak out at night of course secretly
there is more stuff which I can speculate
who is logan, is it a random mate, mate?
i won't repeat the question heaven dear
privacy's a right and i hope that is clear
as Laufey once said i'll repeat to your ears
"maybe you're just way to vain to be interesting"
don't you notice there's no more snow glistening?
i probably won't know you by new years
tears, and tears
fears, and fears
i have them and so do you
and "that's not okay" says who?
sometimes you break the established rules
exploring streets without asking for it
maybe you do make quite your own rules
i wonder how bright at night is your street
knowing i probably won't know you by New Year's
doesn't really matter at all there's no tears
as of now you're someone that i know
and sometimes it's better to let the horse go
maybe I'm just way too me to be interesting
the light at the ceiling reminds me something's missing
and though some things won't come back
i know that when i die myself
i'll be glad
karl you're too young to get what i mean
middle age of middle age you're like fifteen
i know how it feels to be a teen
having to have something to be keen
but remember that time will just go
spend it well or just don't it will still go
This poem was written 31st July 2024 and for someone called Karl, which I met from a “you’re automatically my friend if XYZ” TikTok video, whom I used to talk with on Discord. I sent the poem to the person that day, and the very next day i renounced the friendship because they took long to reply and no interest was shown. I knew it was a short term friendship, as noted by the eighth stanza.
for anahi
what did you say, anahi?
“i’d kinda like it if you would call me :)”
what did you say, anahi?
“it’s not “perchance”, dear heavenly”
there are times in life one doesn’t wanna do anything
only caring about resting, not sleeping or eating
with great respect and empathy, you see
karma will give you lots, got me?
great respect, polite like that
do you consider it a responsibility?
great kindness, kind like that
is that what you call niceability?
what did you say, anahi?
“i’d kinda like it if you would call me :)”
what did you say, anahi?
“it’s not “perchance”, dear heavenly”
ride the wave of life that takes you,
write poems for random strangers;
embrace life’s little hidden dangers,
and to you dear anahi, bye to you.
i never forgot the day you called for kindness
little by little, there goes one’s loneliness
Written 2024/08/05 (YY/MM/DD).
for the moon
you fill the night sky with moonlight
wouldn't visit you but if i could i might
i saw you and will see you tonight
please be with me tonight
one more lap around the earth
one more full moon to see
why did you choose the earth
was it not you, it just gravity?
Written today. Pretty random ah.
Sorry for taking long. I was busy making a train line in my Minecraft world. I hope you’re doing well, see you next blog entry!
